Welcome
Team Cygnus has developed a fully faired recumbent bicycle that can compete with the fastest recumbents in the world. The main goal is to use an optimum man-machine combination to break world records. The Cygnus team consists of technical specialists from various disciplines. Between them they have many years of experience with fully faired recumbents both in racing and in designing. All Cygnus team members are racers at the highest level. Every year they compete in national and international competitions such as Battle Mountain, the European Championship, the World Championship, and the Michigan Human Powered Speed Challenge, but they also attempt to break records on the tracks of RDW, DEKRA and Opel.

Progress
The last few weeks team Cygnus has been working hard to turn smart ideas into tangible results. Every rider wants to ride with his own hatch, which is very useful for the search for photo and video material as you can see in 1 glance who at that moment passes / is racing. This is sometimes a problem for the followers and photographers.
Thomas will be clearly identified by the hump,
Jan-Marcel will be admired without hump,
and David wants to ride with the old hatch, but with an aerodynamic hood.
Jan, who will ride with the Cygnus Alpha has chosen a periscope with scoop for his 12 hour attempt this summer and this is still in development on a new hatch. Jan is also busy with his drive train. The new hub by Velomobiel.nl gives him already a push in the right direction.
So for the time being we are busy building and we use this month to finish work, so we can test next month. Next month we have 2 options to test and those 2 days we want to take full advantage of testing the new hatches, and we want all riders to ride.
